1. Who We Are

ResiParq is a residential parking management service operated by Sonicboom Solutions Sdn Bhd (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the data controller responsible for your personal data under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data in the course of operating the ResiParq parking management platform:

• Vehicle plate numbers — captured by guards via handheld device at entry and exit for parking session tracking.
• Payment card tap data — used to mark entry date, time, and initiate cashless payment. We do not store full card numbers. All payment processing is handled by our acquiring bank partner.
• IC photos (optional) — captured during enforcement (clamping) for identity verification purposes only. IC capture is optional and used solely for dispute resolution.
• Contact information — name, email, phone number, and role submitted via our website contact form for sales enquiry purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

• Operating and managing the parking system at your residential community
• Processing cashless parking payments and generating receipts
• Generating reports for JMB/MC committees (aggregate data only)
• Enforcement documentation and dispute resolution
• Responding to sales and support enquiries

4. Data Sharing

We share personal data only with our acquiring bank partner for the purpose of payment processing and settlement. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with any other third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Data Hosting & Security

All data is hosted on Azure Malaysia / Singapore infrastructure, selected for compliance with Malaysian banking and data sovereignty requirements. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Personal data is retained for the duration of the active service contract with the residential community. The JMB/MC committee has the right to request data deletion or purging at any time during or after the contract period. Upon contract termination, all community-specific data is deleted within 90 days unless retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data held by us
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing (where consent is the basis)
• Request deletion of your personal data

8. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for performance monitoring. These tools collect anonymized, aggregate usage data and do not track individual users across sites. No personal data is collected through website analytics.
